GMA Garnet opens loose bulk handling and packaging facility in Fairless Hills
GMA Garnet Group opened a loose bulk handling and packaging facility in Fairless Hills (Pennsylvania) as a vital staging ground in the Group’s distribution network for North America in February 2010.
Located in the Keystone Industrial Port Complex, Pennsylvania, North of Philadelphia, just south of the New Jersey border and alongside the Delaware River, the facility receives approximately 10,000 tonne loose bulk shipments of GMA Garnet shipped directly from Geraldton, Australia.
The loose bulk garnet is carefully processed through quality control and packaging plant before being delivered to waterjet and sandblast customers in the East Coast, Upper Mid West and Eastern Canada regions. Under the direction of Ryan Moses, the team is already meeting the region’s need for high quality garnet abrasives.
