GMA Garnet enters long term supply contract with Saudi ARAMCO
Garnet Arabia Company has entered into a long term contract with Saudi Aramco to supply GMA Garnet to the oil company's various locations in Saudi Arabia.
GMA Garnet is widely used for maintenance works in both its onshore and offshore facilities.
With huge vessels and tanks reblasted and re-painted under the strict monitoring of the maintenance department, collection and disposal of spent abrasive has been a major concern for Saudi Aramco. It is time consuming and tedious as the spent abrasive is manually filled and thus incurring high labour costs.
Garnet Arabia Company introduced the Vacuload Abrasive Loading System which has the capacity to recover 3-5 Metric tonnes per hour. Spent garnet recovered with Vacuload can be reprocessed in Garnet Arabia Company's facility and re-used again and therefore making huge cost savings in relation to disposal volume while adding value to waste abrasive.
